In January 2008, the retail bakery was closed due to retirement of the owners and also because the yellow house was set for demolition to make room for new office buildings.  It was a sad day for many.  However, Lee and Irma's daughter, Evelyn, who grew up in the business since she was four, has continued making quite a few products by special order. She has set up a "pick-up location" several times, usually during the holidays, and has taken orders online. She also hopes to participate in more bazaars and boutiques in the future. Due to her growing family and being in the midst of the "baby years", Evelyn has decided not to continue a retail location at this time. She is continuing to create and design wedding cakes, special occasion cakes, pies, and quite a few other goodies which you are welcome to inquire about and order anytime. A couple days notice is appreciated.
